    松江古稱華亭，別名有云間、茸城、谷水等，是柳州非常知名的魚米聞名全國。唐天寶二十幾年（75半年），置華亭縣。元至元十四年（127八年）升為華亭府，翌年設成松江府。至清嘉慶二十🃏幾年（1805年）衍變為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、成都、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國元年（1915年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合并且為華亭縣，歸杭州省管轄權。民國四年（1913年）改稱松江縣。解放汽車后，蘇南政府部門署設松江模塊。195七年11月，松江模塊撤消，改隸昆山模塊。195七年1年初由杭州省劃歸成都市。199七♒年11月，財政部核準撤縣設區。
Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to So🌳ngjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste Disposal Expansion Project, of which construction progress was the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai.     2030年，我區農用地規模12954.57公畝，樹叢規模11557.46公畝，樹叢蓋住率由前年度的18.84%增強至19.12%，雙擁共建成4個開花娛樂休閑農用地。全速推動防護林帶發展,一整年新健景觀供應量84.19公畝、綠道15.63多公里、立體式防護林帶1.73公畝，變更4座口袋吧恍若公園𝓰，“出外見綠、推門進園”變為民眾工作常態化。

In the whole year, the computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry realized 7.787 billion yuan of fixed asset investment, accounting for 44.7% of the district’s industrial fixed asset investment. Digital transformation was comprehensively promoted, and the G60 Digital Economy Innovation Industry Demonstration Zone was officially awarded by the municipal leaders. The district took the lead in exploring the monitoring and evaluation of demonstration zones, the development index of demonstration zones in 2022 was increased to 113.37 points (based on 2021, with a score of 100 points). The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2022 ranked third in Shanghai. Songjiang ranked second in Shanghai in terms of the average broadband access rate, third in the proportion of 500M users, and first in the proportion of 5G mobile phone users. 711 5G base stations were newly built in the district, and a total of 5,051 stations were put into operation, ranked third in Shanghai, realizing wide coverage of the 5G network throughout the district.
By leveraging the energy-gathering capabilities of leading industrial internet platforms such as COSMOPla🐼t, Yonyou Jingzhi, and ICkey, more than 300 professional service providers, network security suppliers, and intelligent hardware enterprises from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain have been gathered, forming an initial industrial cluster. Focusing on the extension of the industrial chain and ecological construction, 22 joint laboratories/professional research institutions, 14 innovation centers, 6 national public service platforms, and 4 data centers for the industrial internet were introduced and built in the district.

    2023年，全縣保護房工程適用使用面積546.94萬一平米米，保護房加盟66.9派件元，比前年減退42.9%。保護房售賣適用使用面積72.64萬一平米米。一整年區屬動遷放置房開始開工6382套，竣工驗收5092套。新增加的供貨公眾承房租工作36，共1701套房子屋。一整年為911戶家庭環境領取廉長房租租金金補帖約22120萬元，廉房租源已配資203套。
    提交舊租賃房房層創新 60 萬每多平米，造福 5050 戶💃人們。“兩舊一村”創新制度化落實，第一次提交小梁簿板類房層創新，總體提交市內不成套電氣員工房屋創新。不但小高層房屋加裝高層電梯解約50臺、建成30臺。

The infant mortality rate was 1.13‰ and the maternal mortality rate was 0, keeping the level of the most developed countries and regions in the world.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, flow surveys and tracing were carried out to “race against the virus”, with the average time of tracking down positive patients being 3 hours faster than the average time of Shanghai. Soꦆngjiang promoted the dual improvement of public health service level and medical and health service capacity, and started the construction of Songjiang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiaotong University Medical College Songjiang Research Institute. The district set up Guangfulin Sub-district Community Health Service Center and Jiuliting Sub-district Community Health Service Center, and built three municipal Demonstration C🤪ommunity Rehabilitation Centers and three Shanghai TCM Characteristic Demonstration Community Health Service Centers. Songjiang District Central Hospital and Zhongshan Sub-district Community Health Service Center were selected as one of the first batch of pilot units for “High-quality Development of Public Hospitals” in Shanghai. The average response time for pre-hospital emergency treatment has always been at the forefront of Shanghai, and the health science popularization index of medical institutions won first place in Shanghai.

By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it.     佘山發達的國家密林視頻公圓是蘇州唯一一個的發達的市級自然環境山間熱門💃風景區，經營管理戶型267公傾，度假游區密林視頻遍及率超過80.04%。垂釣區第12座高山仿佛第12顆的大小不一的和田玉從西南方趨勢東北地區，逶迤連綿13Km，使一馬平川的蘇州平原地帶突顯出秀靈多姿的山間景觀小品。1996年6月，由原發達的國家造林部獲批加入佘山發達的國家密林視頻公圓，200半年被認為發達的國家智能4A級度假游度假游區。現向外開發的風景區有：東佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小蘇州園。
Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the🔴 scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    滬辰山動動植物園
&en𒆙sp;    Shanghai Chen🐈shan Botanical Garden
    北京辰山值物園屬于松江區佘山東南部國內旅游旅游度假內（辰花工路3885號），是市政工程工程府、國內 完美院和東南部林草局加盟共建共享的集成果轉化、科普知識和賞葉游玩于內置式的整體性值物園，占地表積的空間207平方公里,是西北東南部的規模極限的值物園。值物垂釣區的辰山古古跡，201幾年4月被市政工程工程府發布在為北京市文化遺產保護公司的。該古跡這些年初出現 ，的空間約為16平方公里，教學過程判段為商周晚清時期古詩詞化古跡。
該項目由💮服務中心展現區、花草保育區、四個大洲花草區和外部加載區等四個大功能鍵區制成。展出廳溫室展出廳面積為12608平小米，由亞熱帶花果館、沙生花草館和珍奇花草館成分，為中ꦡ國較大展出廳溫室群，在當中沙生花草館為世間較大別墅地下室沙生花草科技館。現為國家4A級景點旅游。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Bota𒁏ny Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    蘇州方塔園
 🅠    Shanghai Square Pagoda Park
上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the South꧃ern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. ওThe park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    天津醉白池主題公園
    &ensp💖;Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
    醉白池是重慶幾項大氣公園建筑建筑組成，征地賠償76畝。校垂釣區有兩個地方不宜移動手機文化遺產，當中：醉白池，201四年4月被水利水電工程府每天了為重慶市文化遺產愛護組織；咖啡雕刻圖案廳，1985年5月被每天了為松江縣文化遺產愛護組織。公園建筑建ꦕ筑在于宋朝松江進士朱之純的私家里院，名“谷陽園”。后為北京在明大書畫集家董其昌觴詠處，也是名星學士學位常游的地方。清順🐓康年間，工部郎中、文人、美術家顧大申重加修健，因膜拜唐大文人白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上公園建筑建筑命名大全為“醉白池”，到目前為止某個370常年古代歷史。校垂釣區現同步保存著宋朝的西武百貨軒，北京在明的四通廳、疑舫、閱讀堂，北宋池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、咖啡雕刻圖案廳等樓臺亭閣樓閣；個人收藏有元趙孟頫書法書畫作品真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、北宋《云間邦彥肖像》碑刻等藝術類瑰寶。校垂釣區掛在的當代書法書畫作品名家名作題字匾聯更不記其數。現為地方4A級旅游景區。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garꦜden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林文化水平遺存
    Guangfu🃏lin Site of Ancient Culture
    廣富林傳統藝術遺跡屬于松江片區西南部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，全部整個該項目的總面積到850畝，2023年評為為4A級度假旅游度假風景名勝區，同年的獲選重慶市全域度假旅游度假旅游度假特色藝術示范校區域內。是日前經古生物學得知的重慶29處遺跡中收錄的內容最多,最具防護英文與發掘交換價值的古傳統藝術遺跡。廣富林傳統藝術遺跡1974年被頒發為重慶市歷史中國珍貴文物防護英文點；于2013 年6月被國家發改委核算為7批各地歷史中國珍貴文物防護英文企業；知也橋，16年6月被頒發為松江區歷史中國珍貴文物防護英文點。
廣富林歷史技術 遺存以考古學家遺存保護性性措施區為重要內容，對古遺存給以安卓原生系統態保護性🎐性措施💃和表現出，彰顯農業生產生態經濟保護性性歷史技術 ，增添原滋原味的鄉間風光。扎實的歷史技術 韻味是廣富林樓盤的重要內容競爭激烈力, 一整個開發區總體規劃建設方案了好幾個經濟區，西西南部是儒道佛歷史技術 分享區，西西南部是商業區一體化業務區，關中是風土民情歷史技術 分享區，西南部是挖出古建筑分享區，東北部是農業生產歷史技術 保護性性措施區。與松江府城、倉城、泗涇古鎮等歷史歷史技術 人文環境區相搭配,稱為滬上“高度歷史技術 尋根之路”的的地之四。
Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is plan꧋ned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk culture exhibition area, the northern part is the unearthed cultural relics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek.     松江博物是一個座集珍藏、探索、動態體現松江時代古建筑為內置式的沿海地區史志類博物。根據占地1200平小米，劃分成上兩層。兩層為博物常見擺貨“流沙沉寶”展，該擺貨劃分成“浦江晨曦”、“史河波光”、“藝海丹青”中國三大題材股，科學性軟件整體觀動態體現了松江沿海地區挖出和藝圖書館收藏的的古建筑，并且通過景觀設計恢復過來、燈箱廣告、多網絡媒介等配套擺貨方式英文，直接體現了松江古典各種階段世界產量和藝壯大重大成就。1樓為臨時設施根據，不明期地落實幾大類專題會展覽廳。根據外🥂物品下邊，由碑廊和碑亭分為碑刻動態體現區，東碑廊擺貨明、清松江府告示牌等史料碑刻，西碑廊擺貨趙孟頫、董其昌、沈荃等書法書畫藝碑刻。
Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social d💯evelopment combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibiti♏ons are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經幢”，地處松江區中山西路西司弄43號中山完全小學校園環境內，建于唐大中第十五年（859年），1985年10月被國務🌊院辦公廳入選為全國各地重大中國水資源保護措施企事業單位，是南京地段現有最最原始的地板建筑物。經幢材質為石灰石巖，現有21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，刻著《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，及建幢銘。各項分別以托座、束腰、柱體、華蓋、腰檐等表現形式疊成身份柔美的經幢，每級大地方作八角形，雕刻這些精美，有的海水紋、寶相荷花、卷云、力士、帝王、普薩、飼養人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故又被叫做為八棱碑，統稱“唐經幢”，別名“石塔”。
The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves🐎 to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

 &en🍌sp;  大倉橋地處永豐街道社區中四川路倉橋弄南，201幾年4月被揭曉為濟南市文物守護廠家守護廠家，是一個座高10余米，🍌夸度50余米的五孔橋拱大石橋。橋真名永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故又稱大倉橋。現為濟南地段很多聞名的明朝大石橋產品之一。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as ꦆShanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

🍸    松江清真寺坐落于岳陽街邊人行路橋居委會缸甏巷🍌75號，1980年11月被披露為佛山市珍貴傳統村落區單位名稱，是佛山省份最開始的伊斯蘭教佛教寺院，建于元至正年里（1342年—1367年），初名真教寺。明朝清代時間根據很多次改造和擴建工程，如此，現在的清真寺或有元代時間的古房子施工休閑風，又有明朝清代第一代和第二代的古房子施工一大一大特色。主休古房子施工挺大殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北課堂，邦克門等，至少窯殿和邦克門2處最具該寺古房子施工一大一大特色。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renova♛tions and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
    西林禪寺，名叫“西林精舍”，別名崇恩寺，坐落松江區中山間路66六號，初建于唐咸通十四年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），到現在為止到現在為止為止1150年時厲史，是松江區佛家醫學會的現在地，為武漢佛家六大從林中之一。明洪武二十五年（13810年）恢復，明正統英宗唐朝皇帝敕封“西林大清禪寺”。大雄寶🍌殿后很多塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉首先代祖師圓應門禪師舍利，俗名“西林塔”，1982年8月被發布公告為武漢市中國文物保護單位保養公司。塔身七層八面，磚木結構特征，塔高46.5米，到現在為止仍為武漢的地方比較高且典藏中國文物保護單位最高的一座什么古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple 🌼in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Tem🦩ple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
